News

A little late, but we got it put together.

Week 4 Outline

Week 4 Brief Outline:
  •         Language Arts: All grades will be working in the computer lab this week. We will be  refreshing or enhancing our typing skills, this is important not only because we will be doing a lot of writing in our classroom, but it is also a life skill.  We will also start our next writing project http://www.adventurewrite.com/kids/contest.  The 7th and 8th graders will check out their next book from the classroom library on Monday.
  • Art- We will continue with our Pop Art Portraits and when the students have completed them we will create a styxz animation http://www.stykz.net/ (I just found this website and it seems to be a great mix of art and technology)
  • Publications- Well, we're getting there, slowly but surely. Last week the 7th and 8th graders photographed individual classes, the whole school, and a lot of candid photos. This week they will edit the pictures and at some point the students will be able to purchase them (this is still in the works)
